Wycombe Hockey Club men’s 1st XI are seeking new recruits for the upcoming 2019/2020 season. After two promotions in three seasons – from becoming MBBO Champions in 2016/2017 to gaining promotion from South Hockey League Premier Division 2 last season – the team are looking to build on this success. Report from the EH Awards Dinner

On the 11th May, ten players from Wycombe Hockey Club’s Ladies 5s squad travelled to Leicester to attend the ‘England Hockey Awards Evening’. EH Awards

We’re delighted to announce that our Ladies’ 5th XI have been shortlisted for EH Team of the Year! Winners will be announced at the EH annual awards dinner in Leicester, on Saturday 11th May. The team, which demonstrates a mixture of youth and experience, were newly created this year and acheievd promotion. WHC at the World Cup

We’re following the action closer than most in India due to the presence of so many Wycombites in the World Cup squad! Two England players, Liam Sanford and Liam Ansell, progressed through the Wycombe junior set-up and senior sides before achieving international honours. Two Awards in a Month for WHC Volunteer!

Our very own Strategic Development Officer and Head of Boys Section, Sarah Prior, won Volunteer of the Year at last night’s LEAP Bucks and Milton Keynes Sports Awards. This is on top of the Volunteer of the Year Award she was presented earlier this month at the Active-In Wycombe District Spoirts Awards. The Club is hugely proud. Well done Sarah!

Many congratulations to Sarah Prior who has been shortlisted for the Volunteer of the Year Award 2018 in the Bucks and MK Sports Awards.
