Wycombe Hockey Club try to ensure that in each adult team are two fully qualified first aiders and for each junior team the coach / manager or responsible adult in charge of the team is fully trained.

Each team has a first aid kit which should be fully stocked and pitch side for all matches. The captain of an adult team or the coach/manager of junior sides is responsible for ensuring that a kit is present. Inside each kit is a contents list and a contact number & email address to contact the person whose role it is to replenish it.

If any accident / injury occurs, inside each kit is and accident / injury reporting form. Please complete this and pass on to the person whose contact details are on the form.

Alternatively, please fill out the online Accident and Incident Report Form

If you have any queries,  please contact Jane Neal on 07885425138 or email [email protected]

It is Important to have your own health insurance as for any injuries you are not covered on the club insurance.

If you would like to attend a first aid course paid for by the club please contact the first aid coordinator. Courses arranged are normally 4-6 hours long and are midweek or on a Sunday and are specific for “first aid for sport”. This qualification must be renewed every three years.
