Lisa Bennett shortlisted for Community Coach of the Year

Many Congratulations to Lisa Bennett who has been shortlisted for the Wycombe District Council awards for Community Coach of the Year. The  awards evening will take place on 3rd November at Adams Park. Good luck to Lisa and well done for all the time and effort you have dedicated to the boys over numerous years. I am sure many boys past and present members will all have their fingers crossed. 

More recognition for our junior players

The Futures Cup is part of the development pathway for junior players.  It is a tournament from which National Age group Squads are selected.  This year we have two players in the U-18 event, Callum Addison and Cameron Ryall, while Sam Welsh has been selected for the U-16 squad.  This all takes place at St Albans at the end of October. The Croxson Trophy

The Croxson Trophy competition between Wycombe and Marlow was created in memory of the two Croxson brothers who played hockey for both Wycombe and Marlow but who both died while still young.  The format, aggregate goals over all matches, was designed to ensure that lower eleven games, where higher scores were more likely, would play an important part.  So it proved this year when Wycombe’s aggregate margin of three goals could be attributed to a hat trick from Darren Read more…

Croxon Trophy 2016

Wycombe won the Trophy in 2016  after a hard fought competition. 5 teams played on 24th September 2016 ith the aggregate scores 9-6  , Men’s results in the Croxson Cup against Marlow:  1st XI won 2-1 Cameron Ryall, Stephen Sloan 2nd XI won 2-0 Chris Goodchild, Nick Carter 3rd XI lost 2-0 4th XI won 4-0 Darren Monteiro 3, Harry Wetherell 5th XI lost 3-1 Kevin O’Linn

Huge thank you for all support

A Big Thank you to all the parents who helped manage the stalls and BBQ today at club Fest . Also thanks for all the lovely cakes. A massive thank you goes out to Amie MCarthy who has spent all week collecting BBQs, Gazebos, EH Banners, buns, tea, coffee- the list goes on. She was at Cressex from 7.45am and left at 6.00pm.
