Girls U18s Indoor Success

On 31st December 2017 the U18 girsl indoor squad, along with coach Jeremy Wagge, travelled to the Copper Box to comete once again in the Indoor Hockey UK Competition. Their 4 pool games and 4 wins game in quick succession: beating Marlow 2-1, Saffron Walden 7-1, Canterbury 4-2 and Old Loughtonians 3-2. New Welfare Officers needed

After serving the Club for some years Heidi Rutherford and Marco Parmegiani have decided to stand down from these positions.  So the Club needs replacements in the essential positions of Welfare Officers.  We cannot register with England Hockey without people in these roles.  The committee thinks that the ideal solution would be to have Officers for each section, Ladies, Men and Juniors, and possibly a ‘champion’ to attend committee and present reports. Daisy Hacking and Caroline Spence to represent England at School Games

Congratulations to Daisy Hacking and Caroline Spence for their selection to represent England at the School Games. Daisy and Caroline were eligible for selection because they reached HiPac last Autumn and they have been studying for their AASE qualification (Advance Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence). As part of AASE they had a chance to be selected for School Games. They were both successful in being selected – Daisy for England Red and Caroline for England Blue. Read more…
