Wycombe U14 boys’ performance brightened up what was a very damp, cold autumnal day. Wycombe went quickly ahead with a flowing move down the left hand side of the pitch; intricate passing from the halfway line all the way to Theo in front of goal was very satisfying to watch. Yateley did not capitulate though, and there after a compelling game of hockey ensued, with both teams trying to dominate. Yateley scored 2 before half time and then Edward scored from a short corner after the break, leaving the match 2-2 with about 15 mins to run. Yateley scored the winner 5 mins before time in what was a highly entertaining match, with avid support from the sidelines. Callum was superb in goal and all on the pitch contributed. Big thank you to Sophie and Ziggy supporting us so well as officials again.
