If you are interested in hockey for yourself or your child please call us for an informal chat, or alternatively send an email (Contact Us). Our main competitive season runs from September to Easter and our current training schedule can be found here. Adult matches are mostly on Saturdays and Junior matches/tournaments are on Sundays. We train and play home matches in three locations around High Wycombe: Wycombe High School, Royal Grammar School, and Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.
New for September 2019: Hockey Heroes is is a fun and welcoming programme aimed at children aged 5-8 that aims to develop both their physical and character ‘superpowers’, unlocking the hero inside them! We hope to be able to run these sessions again in 2021.
New members will be offered a trial membership period before any payments are due. Reduced subscriptions are offered to those joining midway through a season. See Subscription Information.
Equipment – For your first go you will be able to borrow a hockey stick from the club. Shinguards and a mouthguard are mandatory for junior players, and strongly recommended for adults. Trainers or astroturf shoes, warm comfortable sports clothing, and a water bottle are the only other requirements for new players.
All Players, adult and junior, must complete a Registration Form each season. Returning members simply have to confirm that the currently held details are correct.
Current levels of membership subscriptions can be found on the Subscription and Match Fees webpage. We ask all members to set up a direct debit with us so that match fees and subscriptions can be collected automatically.
Annual subscriptions are payable in October each year. Pro rata arrangements exist for joining part-way through a season.
Members who fail to either pay their subscriptions, or made arrangements to do so, will be deemed unavailable for selection until the matter is resolved.
Any member allowing his subscription to be in arrears more than three months shall, at the discretion of the Management Committee, cease to be a member.
