Since outdoor sport resumed on 28th March, we’ve been busy here at WHC! Every team had the opportunity to train for two weeks, before summer hockey activity took over. Monday Mixed has been very popular and will continue throughout the coming months, and the ladies’ Summer League at WHS has already welcomed teams from 5 other local clubs, with Wycombe’s first game seeing them beat Maidenhead 5-4 in a thrilling encounter! The Men’s 1s are competing in the summer league hosted by Old Merchant Taylors’ HC, with plans to host our own men’s competition in early summer.
We’re hoping to run Back to Hockey in a few weeks so if you’ve not played for a few years, or are an adult who’s completely new to the sport, watch this space for more information.
Regular minis and junior traning sessions will resume in September.
