Les Macready Wycombe and GB player

Posted by Richard Spragg on 12 May 2021

The Club was recently contacted by someone wanting to locate our former player Les Macready. The aim was to ensure Les received a GB cap that he was due. Les was born inHigh Wycombe and attended RGS. He played international hockey for Scotland for fifteen years and was one of the few non-English members of GB squads. Les played all his club hockey at High Wycombe and might have captained the 1st XI more had it not been for Scotland training.
